Nablus – The Popular Committee and Askar Association for Community Development, in active partnership with Doctors for Smiling Children – Nablus, concluded , the activities of the largest free rehabilitation medical day for people with disabilities. The event was held at the People’s Medical Clinic in Askar Camp, with wide participation from families and partner organizations.
The medical day featured the provision of specialized health and rehabilitation services, including hearing therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, flat foot screening, and general medicine. All services were offered completely free of charge, aiming to enhance community healthcare and ease the burden on residents of eastern Nablus.
This initiative was jointly organized with Doctors for Smiling Children – Nablus, alongside Al-Jaleel Association and the Local Committee for the Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities. The association played a key role in the success of this medical day through its specialized medical and humanitarian support.
Organizers expressed their pride in the success of this event, which is considered the largest of its kind in the area, reaffirming their commitment to continuing such impactful health initiatives in partnership with supporting organizations to serve the most vulnerable groups.
The medical day received strong engagement from the community, with families praising the quality of services provided and highlighting the important role of Doctors for Smiling Children and all partners in supporting people with disabilities and promoting their inclusion in society.

اختتام أكبر يوم طبي مجاني لذوي الإعاقة في مخيم عسكر الجديد بالشراكة مع جمعية أطباء من أجل أطفال مبتسمون
نابلس – اختتمت اللجنة الشعبية وجمعية عسكر للتنمية والتطوير المجتمعي، بالشراكة الفاعلة مع جمعية أطباء من أجل أطفال مبتسمون – نابلس
، فعاليات أكبر يوم طبي تأهيلي مجاني لذوي الإعاقة، والذي أُقيم في مستوصف الشعب الطبي بمخيم عسكر، وسط مشاركة واسعة من الأهالي والجهات الشريكة.
وشهد اليوم الطبي تقديم خدمات صحية وتأهيلية متخصصة شملت: علاج السمع، علاج النطق، العلاج الوظيفي، العلاج الطبيعي، فحص فلات فوت، والطب العام، وذلك بشكل مجاني بالكامل، في خطوة تهدف إلى تعزيز الرعاية الصحية المجتمعية وتخفيف الأعباء عن سكان المنطقة الشرقية في نابلس.
وجاء هذا النشاط بتنظيم مشترك مع جمعية أطباء من أجل أطفال مبتسمون – نابلس، إلى جانب جمعية الجليل واللجنة المحلية لتأهيل المعاقين، حيث كان للجمعية دور محوري في إنجاح هذا اليوم الطبي من خلال دعمها الطبي والإنساني المتخصص.
وعبّر القائمون على الفعالية عن فخرهم بنجاح هذا اليوم الذي يُعد الأكبر من نوعه في المنطقة، مؤكدين التزامهم بمواصلة تنظيم مثل هذه المبادرات الصحية النوعية، بالشراكة مع الجهات الداعمة، لخدمة الفئات الأكثر احتياجًا.
وقد لاقى اليوم الطبي تفاعلًا كبيرًا من الأهالي، الذين أثنوا على جودة الخدمات المقدمة، مشيدين بدور جمعية أطباء من أجل أطفال مبتسمون وباقي الشركاء في دعم ذوي الإعاقة وتعزيز دمجهم في المجتمع.
